I need mommy friends ( vent )
Im almost 27 and my friends are still partying up and I never see them anymore. Even if I get a sitter I still have to come home and feed her every 4 hours at night and its just not fun, its exhausting. I do not have ONE mommy friend. Can anyone recommend ways to get to know other moms?! I am a SAHM and I feel so blessed that I can do this but I get so bored!!! I am an outgoing social person...I need that adult time. Thanks for letting me vent

How about joining a mommy & me? Then you can meet other mommies. Also, look into things in your neighborhood for children...like at the library or park...

I am in a similiar situation as you...I am almost 39 and a lot of my friends have children older, or not yet, or dont SAH. I come on here when I can to see if there is anything going on, so far I have been unable to make any of the GTG's.
Just yesterday I joined a mothers group through meetup.com...hoping that works out so my DS can have some interaction with other kids his age. AND, I need some adult interaction too! Good luck!

Tryy meetup.com... or what about through here.... maybe tegher are some young mammas in ur area. Where are you from??
I know what you mean too, most of my friends raent moms and the ones that are ...are so busy with their own lives most of the time ....sooo... its hard!

I am in Suffolk county ( central ). I have never heard of meetup.com. I will check it out! Thanks!!
