I saw on LIW, and I'm bored, so let's play....what's the craziest thing you've ever seen at a wedding??
or at any formal party?? prom, sweet 16, bar/bat mizvah, etc
for me, it was the wedding of my cousin's cousin...the best man during his speak wished the couple, a lot of great "f*cking"....the whole room went silent, and the brides ran out crying, it was AWKWARD.

I think any wedding at Russos with the floor tube and rotating staircase is pretty crazy.
My DH is from Ohio and was,  . In fact, years later he is still effected by it......

My dad was a club date musician for many years and he remembers playing a mafia wedding (I think the Persico family or something). He said the wedding had a coat check and a gun check

This was at a friends wedding. I was big and pregnant and the bride offered for me to use her ladies room in the bridal suite. So I walk in and what do I see? My friend, we'll call him Scott, having sex with a brides maid! I run out and right into this huge, ripped man who asks "have you seen my wife anywhere? She's a bridesmaid, named ........." I manage to shake my head no. All there was between this man walking in on his wife and my friend was me and a thin door. It was so crazy! I caught up with Scott a little while later and informed him on how I saved his life. He didn't even know she was married! Hot mess but a wedding I will never forget.

Speaking of wedding hook ups, my dad has told me quite a few bad ones.
How about the band leader looking for the groom and best man so BM could give his toast and finding the two of them together in a coat closet and NOT wanting to come out!

The groom's brother/best man who had at least a SEVEN page-both sides written on speech, complete with a slideshow that showed him in EVERY photo with the couple.
We still refer to the wedding by the groom's brother's first name.

I was the MOH in my former friends wedding and the best man gave a speech talking about how he helped the groom wax his back before the first time he met the bride's family

My friends honored me by doing a human pyramid at my wedding. Was pretty funny.

OMG!!! doubt many can top that!
Craziest wedding was one I was in...my ex-boyfriend's. These kids were much too young to get married - right out of high school- they were very Christian so I think they just wanted to get married so they could bonk each other I'm joking, they're still happily married with 3 kids . They had it at Knights of Columbus- which was fine - with buffet - fine....but they did not provide any alcohol or professional entertainment. Well....me and my ex WERE the entertainment. We brought in his keyboard, sang a few songs, played what we felt was the 'safest' music to play on the cd player (we had to be VERY careful, their church frowned on much popular music) and there was NO dancing (again, frowned upon by the church)....soo many people left early, it was sad. Especially my ex's Italian side of the family who were HUGE partiers!
But like I said, they're still happily married with 3 kids. They're a great couple! I'll just never forget feeling like such an idiot, being the entertainment for the night.

I saw a guy drink himself into oblivion and actually urinate himself sitting in a chair.  At the same time, he was trying to drink out of a glass of beer and spilling that down his chin. It was funny and sad at the same time.

At a wedding we went to a few years ago, the best man was so drunk that he made a fool of himself during the speech, started hitting on another woman with his wife there then got into this yelling, screaming, cursing out argument with his sister or some family member that was there - she was yelling at him for hitting on that wh*re, and he started running out into the road to get away from her and everyone.... the groom had to chase him and try to get him back, got into a car to drive down the road to coerce the best man back into the car (I forgot how he was related to the whole thing...) - it was INSANE!!!!
That was quite the memorable event

a friend of a friend had goldfish and bamboo CPs. her new DH's frat brothers created a new shot that night...and lets just say that no one went home with fish left in their CPs. Some DID leave with fish in their bellies, though.

While the groom was taking the garter off of the brinde, he went completely under her dress came back out, wiped his mouth and they thought this was funny. Most of the guests were grossed out, espeically the mother and father of the bride.

At my wedding, a good friend of my parents...her husband didn't like where he was seated so he got up and left. Apparently my dad was so ****** that he gave them the finger as they walked out Not that I can blame my dad.
I never knew what went on until we were back from my honeymoon, but I could tell that my dad wasn't himself later on at the wedding. To this day I resent that stupid meat head for affecting my dad's time at the wedding.

A dog as a groomsman ... dressed in a doggie tuxedo and all. A bridesmaid walked him down the aisle and he stood at the altar (in a Catholic Church) with the other groomsmen. I had to videotape it because I knew people would never believe it.

having the groom hire the dude Beatle juice from howard Stern---the bride was mortified, beetle juice was crude and the bride ran out crying...
after that she never spoke to any of his friends again nor was he allowed to...llike we had anything to do with it...
the who e wedding was dead silence the entire time he was in there...
as my dh says...."douche chills"

I didn't see it at a wedding but the craziest wedding I have been to was like a country song. My friend "Jan" married "Sam" the August before and the marriage ended in January. The following August on the same date, she wed "Chris". She was also 3 months pg, so yes it was a shotgun wedding. I didn't feel obliged to give her a gift because I had given her one the year before but I had my DH (FH at the time) send a huge basket of lullaby cd's from his music label.
BTW I know a few bridesmaids that have gotten laid by groomsmen but none have been married.
