While the groom was taking the garter off of the brinde, he went completely under her dress came back out, wiped his mouth and they thought this was funny. Most of the guests were grossed out, espeically the mother and father of the bride.

A dog as a groomsman ... dressed in a doggie tuxedo and all. A bridesmaid walked him down the aisle and he stood at the altar (in a Catholic Church) with the other groomsmen. I had to videotape it because I knew people would never believe it.
My cousin did this at her wedding. The dog has its nails painted pink.

I worked in the biz for a while & saw some pretty weird stuff, but the worst to me was the one when the MOB got wasted & tried to tongue down her new SIL in front of the whole wedding

A fist fight between 2 girls, 1 of which was in the wedding party. It turned into an all out brawl and half the wedding guests got involved. Needless to say after the cops were called and it was over the reception pretty much ended...
Poor Bride and Groom...what a celebration.

I was once at a wedding where the groom punched out his own dad, the dad fell over a table and was unconscious for a second.

A comedian at a wedding. And, his act was 45 minutes long and involved jokes including "don't be the cheapest gift giver. You don't want them to have to argue about you for the rest of their lives"
And, of course my own wedding when I got my proofs back and got so see that one of the BMs (Dh's cousin) decided to hold up her middle finger during pictures on the stairs of our church. So much for trying to make the 34 year old single chick feel included...

Um, the wedding not happening at all. It was called off an hour before the ceremony and it got UGLY between the families. This was a family member of mine too.

At my sister's wedding her DH's cousins (I think) tieda bunch of cloth napkins together and used them as a rope to play jump rope with the guests. Watching my sister in her big poofy ball gown trying to jump rope was hysterical!!

At my brother and SILs wedding, my aunt had one too many drinks, and towards the end of the night, she wanted to add some more fun into the evening, so she sat on the dance floor, took off her panty hose and then had her husband hold them in her teeth with another uncle on the other side and all the women did the limbo. And it's on tape and caught in photos!

I was at a wedding of the sister of one of the posters on here (her DH is a good friend of ours) and it was a big lifeguard wedding - towards the wedding, most of the lifeguards, including the groom, dropped their pants to reveal the regulation "ballhangers" underneath - then they serenaded the groom
Which poster is going to fess up to this?

I was at a weding once and the groom was taking the garter off and the DJ played" moving on up" the theme from the Jefferson's, that is one of the strangest songs I have ever heard played to that, and a cocktail hour that only had crudite and dip.... I guess there could have been alot more stranger things but to me that was strange....

Totally reminded me of my brothers wedding.... how can I forget.... at his wedding, he and all the groomsmen got matching undies with slogans on them "Italian Sausage", "Fire Hose". There was 4 or 5 different sayings. During the chicken dance, they surrounded the bride, dropped trough and did the chicken dance. It was hysterical. Very white trash now that I think back, but so hysterical then.

At my cousins wedding, the Best Man went on and on about his relationship with the groom and how much he means to him and how his parents treated him like a son. Not once did he mention my cousin (the bride) It was very awkward.
At my own wedding, I had 4 crashers. It was the weirdest thing. I never thought people really did that!! I was a little peeved because the photographer didn't know who they were and photographed them with drinks in hand and wearing every give away that the DJ handed out. They are also on our wedding video saying (in a drunken manor) "Thanks for inviting us, we're having the best time" DH makes me fast forward through that when we watch it. LOL. He is still pretty PO'd about it. lol.

At my hubby's friends wedding in March '06...the Best Man (brother of the groom) stripped down to his underoos and continued to dance to the trance music he requested from the DJ....in the middle of his "routine" - another GM took a bottle of beer and poured it on himself....and then took another bottle of beer and poured it all over his date....the night got SO MUCH WORSE when we got back to the hotel...but, I cannot speak of the things that happened as I will certainly be booted off the site.
We got married a month later, and the GM w/the beer was in our BP - needless to say, DH sat him down the night before and threatened his life if he even TRIED to do anything remotely close to what he pulled at that (above) wedding.

Ah I completely forgot about my cousin's wedding.
At the altar when he kneeled down, the GMs put the words "Help" & "Me" on the bottom of his shoes. Bride's family was not amused.
Later at the wedding, the MOB was drunk as a skunk & throwing up in the bathroom. She tried to "clean up" so we didn't know. My sister came back to our table & told us she thought the MOB needed help. She was carried out & leaned up against a chair.
Not a pretty sight at all.

LOL... I went to a wedding for my two good friends. The groom was the youngest of like 11 kids and was quite a wild child who could be quite difficult and so the sisters wrote "god Bless" "andrea" on his shoes.. It was really funny...
At my own wedding the boquet and garder were caught by my BIL and his boyfriend!

Well, this didn't happen AT my wedding, but it was my wedding weekend. My parents had a party at their house the night before my wedding- and my cousin got so wasted. They went back to the hotel, and proceeded to drink more in the hotel lobby. My drunk cousin needed change for the soda machine, but the front desk didn't have any and couldn't open their register to give him change (it was really late)- so he got really mad and beligerent, and took a donation box that was on counter, took it outside, proceeded to smash it on the ground, took his change, and then returned the smashed box, and the rest of the money to the front desk and went on his merry way. 
The hotel called the cops, and they searched the hotel for him. Thank goodness my uncle convinced the cops to not arrest him the day before my wedding!
This story was hilarious for the longest time- UNTIL we found out that my cousin is/was addicted to drugs and was high at the time.

get ready..........
This was at a friends wedding. I was big and pregnant and the bride offered for me to use her ladies room in the bridal suite. So I walk in and what do I see? My friend, we'll call him Scott, having sex with a brides maid! I run out and right into this huge, ripped man who asks "have you seen my wife anywhere? She's a bridesmaid, named ........." I manage to shake my head no. All there was between this man walking in on his wife and my friend was me and a thin door. It was so crazy! I caught up with Scott a little while later and informed him on how I saved his life. He didn't even know she was married! Hot mess but a wedding I will never forget.
OMG... Holy SHHHHHHIIIITTTT!
