Awww, Shorty.
I know how you feel. I had 2 visits to L&D before they admitted me. I went home both times because I wasn't dialated enough, but was contracting about every 4 -5 minutes on average. On the third trip, they admitted me, I think because I was 90% effaced. I wasn't convinced they would keep me, but I needed something for the pain and hoped that maybe I could sleep for a little bit.
I ended up with a C-section, but it was something my doctor and I had discussed at around 36 weeks, since the baby was measuring so large. I was completely exhausted by the time I was admitted and just didn't have it in me. I also don't think the baby ever dropped in the 3 1/2 days I was in labor.
And I feel for you with the bathroom trips - the last two days I labored, my day was basically, have a strong contraction, pee, lay down for 4 minutes, repeat. It's awful, but if it's any consolation, I had a very mellow, sweet baby. I like to think it was payback for that labor!

I think you need to start screaming at your OB-obviously you cannot leave it to Hippo to come out in a reasonable amount of time! On the bright side, you can use this experience to guilt him one day!
