I want to be an Early Intervention Provider. Any suggestions?
I do not know where this belongs exactly, but I want to become and EI provider. I am certified and I am currently teaching in a self-contained classroom. However my heart lies in EI. Anyone work in the field? How do I get started? I know I have to apply to the state but does anyone know how long it takes? Thank you so much.

You must first become approved by the department of health before any agencies will talk to you ....Here is the application. DOH

I would contact some of the agencies in your area and go in to talk to them. Most of them offer training in ABA if you wanted to go that route.
