Congrats!!!!
DH and I looked for a house for 4 years!!!! I thought we would break the world record of longest time to find a house-lol. Once we bought our house, I was so happy just to have our weekends back and not be house hunting!

DH and I looked for a house for 4 years!!!! I thought we would break the world record of longest time to find a house-lol. Once we bought our house, I was so happy just to have our weekends back and not be house hunting!
Thanks. I feel the same way!! We closed on Wednesday. We are in storage right now getting out the folding chairs. I've been sitting on the stairs in the foyer the past 2 days.
I'm so over it that I might just have dh pick colors and furniture

We looked for a LONG time too but we finally got the house that's perfect for us. I know someone who found someone after looking a day or two. I personally could never lol

I met more neighbors in 2 days than I did in 5 YEARS in Douglaston (Queens). I even bought a ton of Girl Scout cookies !! I'm soooo happy. Everyone is incredibly nice and informed me of parties they have that I should be expecting invites to!! They invite over 150 people for bbqs in their yard !! How the hell do they know so many people? I have like5 friends. Jesus!! I even witnessed a house around the block having a party. At least 30 cars in the driveway and around the perimeter of their home. It was insane. This place is litttttt
