If I warm dc's bottle do you think she'll sleep better?
Do I have the only 8 month old who keeps waking? DH doesn't have her nap in her crib and I think the bad habit has formed. I'm trying to get her out of my bed at night.
Any advice?
ETA: Do you think a warmer bottle has any effect?

Re: If I warm dc's bottle do you think she'll sleep better?
Connor had a bad coxsackie-type virus and he would wake up all night in his crib but slept snug and soundly on me. Bad habits were formed, and then some really bad teething started, so needless to say the bad habits got worse. To the point where Connor would only sleep on me and he ended up in bed with us. We put the pack n play in our room so he could see us when he woke up. That lasted a few nights. Then we moved the pack n play into his room, then he went into his crib. It took about 1.5 weeks of the pack n play to get him back.
I have to add, now when he wakes up, we go in and check on him. Rub his back and make sush-ing noises. It rarely happens now. We don't pick him up to rock him back to sleep. After a few minutes, he falls asleep on his own.

I think you're already trying CIO - that combined with a solid bedtime routine and a shorter naptime routine are my only suggestions for fixing this - it will not be easy!
I did get about halfway through The No-Cry Sleep Solution - it did have some good suggestions on sleep associations, routines, schedules - basically Weissbluth and Ferber but without the crying. Might be worth your reading, esp if you haven't actually read Weissbluth or Ferber - most people focus on the CIO part so you only get the rest of their theory and suggestions if you actually read it yourself.
