Not right now would I be happy. We have our furniture just hanging out since we are getting lots of new stuff, the paint samples are on the walls to see if we like it so its like ghetto chic, and its just a mess.
Moving is tough...

I'd say my house is pretty neat. My kitchen floor always looks like it needs to be cleaned (white tile). I always try to make sure my bathrooms are clean too, but sometimes I let it slide...

Same here...except today I left the house in a rush and therefore the dishes are still sitting in the sink. Other than that, there is some mail on the kitchen table and we're still living out of boxes in the office - but nothing that would embarass me.

No, I wouldn't be embarrassed...I like the keep the house neat and clean...now, if they went into our bedroom...then I'd be freaked out...DH has his clothes everywhere!!!!!!!!!!

I would be mortified, but I have an excuse because we just moved in! We have a lot of renovating to do so right now the place has yucky gold light fixtures from 1970 and we started so many projects in the last couple of weeks to test things out and have not finished any. Thank god our friends and family are so far away right now because I don't think we will officially be ready for visitors till next summer at the rate we are going at.

If someone walked in they would ask if we just moved in (although we've been here three months) because we are still waiting for furniture! Other than that we keep it pretty neat.

Our house is not a museum and it looks lived in most of the time. My cleaning person just cleaned yesterday-so come on over!
Ask me that again in about 5 days..
The only embarassing thing is the kitty litter when it's not changed. I have a litter box in the bathroom.

I got my cleaning done yesterdy afewter my procrastinating so its guest ready!!!!
Usually I would need a 30 min- 60 min notice just to straghten up.
I do make the bed everyday, I think it makes the bedroom look neat and tidy.

I would not be embarassed as I have a cleaning girl once a week ad I really try to keep things up after she leaves. The only thing thats messy sometimes are my dogs toys as some days he feels the need to take everyone out of his basket and he has like 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My house isn't messy... it is not perfectly clean either. I would call it "lived in".... I would not be embarrassed if somebody stopped by.

I would be so embarrassed if someone walked into my house and it was a mess...but I'm a neat freak and have a bit of OCD - I'll make myself late to work or anywhere else bc I can't walk out the door without making sure everythings in order...its so ANNOYING

Eh, not really. We just got a new tv stand, so cords are showing and stuff is in a corner. Then we have a nice pile for Goodwill. So it's in transition, not messy.
