Re: If you are married, how long did it take you to officially change your name at the DMV and with SS??
I just did it this week and I've been married less than a month. Going to SS & DMV at off times made the process go so quick!

I changed my drivers license, SS card and other important document right away.....w/i 2 months. The only thing I have not done is updated my passport but we both need to do that anyways...just keep putting it off.

changed everything the day after I got back from my honeymoon. Took off an extra few days to deal with that kind of stuff.

I changed everything within a month of getting married (2/25/06) however I have yet to change my passport.
