If you didn't start jarred food until 6 months....

Did you start with stage 1 even though stage 2 starts at 6 months? Or did you go straight to stage 2?

stage 1

Same here. It's more of a readiness & the baby's experience than it is age. If a baby has never had stage 1 consistency food, then there might be issues going to stage 2 (ie, gagging, refusal, etc).

Definately stage 1. At 9 months DS is still having some stage 1, but mainly stage 2 now. He hasn't had any stage 3 yet.

def start with stage 1 stage 2 is larger and has mixed foods. you have to get your DC's belly used to food.

remember intoduce 1 food at a time for at least 3-5 days then you can start on a new one.

the P foods help with pooping.. like peas , sweet potato, pears, prunes.

dont force the whole jar at first either.. its can be the babies belly getting used to it

also .. the poopies are going to change in texture so be aware. and your DC may not go poopie for a couple days dont worry just the body getting used to everything..

give the baby cereal also

if you have any questions feel free to FM

There's no rush, I just didn't know how it's done.
