The day after DS' birth it was a little sore and I took motrin and it was fine.
I did fracture my tailbone during labor that 2+ years later still hurts

Yes and after 2 epidurals for both kids I can tell if it's going to rain or if the weather is bad by a dull ache where it was....
i only had an epidural once but i too get an ache in that spot when the weather is bad. i have scholiosis so i dont know if that could have caused a problem.

I used to get pain and tingling in the spot off and on for awhile. Don't feel it now 2+ yrs. later.
Did you have an epidural or a spinal block? They are two different things and put in different areas. A spinal block is usually associated with more side effects.

Yes! It was terrible, but it didn't last 5 1/2 weeks, more like 2 weeks.

I had a mild soreness for a few weeks following. It almost felt as if it where still in at times.

i sometimes get real achy in the area of if i think about getting the needle i get weird phantom pain. maybe ask your dr about it

Maybe a little sore around the injection site, but nothing significant. And not for a long time either-- maybe a couple of days.

no. I have had the epidural for 2 different labors, the second labor that I had it for it slipped out and was reinserted so I had it 2 times too with that one, and no I have never had pain from it.

I am 100% sure that my epidural is the cause of all my back problems...my doctor insists its not, but since giving birth three and a half years ago, I haven't been the same.

I never had back issues but since the epi my back kills me in the spot of the epi. I moved when they put it in so I think that might be the reason.

yes...felt like I had a bruised back (which i kind of did) and it hurt quite a bit for awhile after
I also had a reaction to the tape they put on my back to hold the line in place.

i had pain for about 4 weeks afterwards. They messed up putting in the epidural so that's what the dr attributed it to.

where they put the epidural it was swollen for about a week, until I started massaging it. But I never had any pain, even when they put it in, I never felt it

other than them putting it in, I had no pain from it either.
same here... well except for the time during labor that it fell OUT and i was in agony for over an hour before we realized it fell out... and then the pain of it being reinserted.

16 months pp and when the weather is bad I get a terrible ache. I had a bad epidural though and had a spinal fluid leak.
