If you had children at a Montessori daycare...
This may go unanswered but if I get the answer I'll respond
The boys start their new daycare soon and it's a Montessori center. The explained that infants don't use sippy cups and instead use actual cups. It just hit me today...how am I going to take Gregory off the bottle and still ensure that he gets enough milk? And does that mean I shouldn't give him sippy's at home? That poor kid either never going to drink or will have to be tied up to the highchair so he doesn't destroy my house

Re: If you had children at a Montessori daycare...
When I worked at a Montessori daycare- many of the children still used sippy cups at home- they would come in with them, but they had to be left in their cubby.
A few of them still had a bottle at home too (I worked with 18m-3yrolds).
The kids seem to quickly understand that there are 2 sets of rules- 1 for home and 1 for school.

Thank you sooo much Keri!!
Now I feel a little better. I can do the sippy at home when I transition until I am..let me be honest...comfortable with him using a cup. By 14 months my oldest was off the bottle so I was hoping to do the same with DS2 but I realize I was sending 5 sippy cups a day to school with water or milk. I thought...uh oh!
