Moms of daycare children-preshool question
I am just wondering what parents of kids who are in daycare full time do as far as preschool goes. I know some daycares do offer a preschool within the daycare, but I am wondering if those are as good to prepare the children for k as compared to a preschool that only does that.
Thoughts?

I think they're def just as good. I worked for a daycare and the kids that were in pre-school age were way ahead for kindergarten. Daycare is pretty much a school... they do all the activities all day long. It's not just a babysitting service. They teach them from day 1.

DS is in a chain daycare that also has a curriculum, we are not enrolling him in a separate pre-K. They have a great program and cover all the things they would in pre-K/

He's in this until Kindergarten. The curriculum at 2 years old is already amazing! He will be more than prepared for kindergarten...
