If you have tan siding, what color is your front door? With PIC
We have a wood door and its very faded. Instead of sanding and painting we are just going to paint it. The painter suggested white but I'm afraid it will get dirty fast, I was thinking a brown or burgundy.....thoughts? Pics?TIA!!

blue. We have tan on the sides and stone on the front. Love it. It's blue on the outside and white on the inside.

i always love the look of a black door...if you have glass in it and it gets lots of sun though...dont do it. you will lose the seal on your glass.
i have ivory siding and a black door (covered by a large porch) looks WAY better than the forest green the previous owner had!

I love the look of a red door or a navy blue door with tan siding, very classic, very American, always looks so sharp!

We have white... about 1/2 door is glass.
My father has a wood-grain fiberglass door, small glass.

I agree! I have beige siding, black shutters and a cranberry colored door.

My house is more brown than tan and I have very dark brown shutters and door. It's so dark brown it almost looks black.

When we bought our last metal door, we had it spray painted at the auto body shop for this specific reason- it never faded.
We have since replaced it with a mahogany door.

We face north but we get a lot of sun. I LOVE red doors but our house is a light tan and I don't think it will look good.

we have tan siding on our townhome and our front door is brown (we picked it) but now wish we went with something bolder.
based on the pic of your house, i think hunter green would look pretty!
