OK i tested Thursday and got a slight slight almost not there line.....then got a Preg on a digital same day

Friday went to dr and was neg...then after 10 min the test turned pos slight slight line


Tested again today 14DPO...slight slight line like wed.

Had bloodwork done and waiting...im scared that since the line is not getting any darker I may have had a chem preg. Does anyone have experience with this, should the line be darker? Its soooo light it looks totally neg at first.... I am freaking out and so upset...ty

Try not to worry, its not good for you or the pregnancy. If Thursday was 10DPO then today is only 12 DPO wich is stil very, very early. Some ladies don't even get BFP's at that time. Many women don't have a line at all Until day 13 or 14. Try to relax!

I just posted on your other thread but I never had a dark line. It was faint from the very beginning and after a few days of testing I stopped.

Easier said than done but try your best not to worry. Those tests are not meant to be quantitative!!

the same thing happened to me at 10DPO and 11DPO. i got a faint line in the evening of 10DPO then later that night i used a digital and got a "pregnant". Then the next morning at 11DPO i used a line test and was expecting to see a darker line since it was a day later and FMU, but it wasn't darker. So then i used a digital again that morning and i got a "pregnant". after that i stopped using line tests since they were making me so stressed. yes the digitals cost a little more but for my sanity it was worth it. so my point is stop testing with the line tests. good luck and congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't freak yourself out. A line is a line, no matter how faint and you are so early! Congrats!

I tested on day 10 and got the fainest of lines, I really had to hold up to the light to see it. Tested positive on digital right away. I took 8 more test 4 line tests and 4 digital over the next few days, I never got a dark line, and actually got a negative on some of the line tests, all digitasl came back positive. Try not to worry tests are funny sometimes.

I hate to be the one who's not supportive but this happend to me twice. And both times were chemical pregnancies.

I tested and got a faint line, then the lines never got darker and eventually faded until I got AF. I also got a + on a digital the first day of my BFP.

I never got a dark line! I tested weeks after AF was due and never saw one. But the digitals came up pregnant for me.

Just wait until the bloodwork comes back.

I had 3 false negatives... even though my hcg levels were def high enough.

I was crazy and started testing at 6 DPO lol I didn't get anything until 10 DPO and I had the faintest line that only I saw when I held it up lol On day 11 I took like 3 tests (all different line tests) and only 1 had that light line so I thought I was out. On morning 12 I took a digital and it was negative. I was so sad and thought I was out. Later that night I took a line test and I saw a line that was darker than any other. 13DPO and on the line got darker and finally on about 15 DPO the digital said pregnant. The digital is the least sensitive, just so you know! : ) Good luck :)

I first tested at 12DPO- you can see the pictures in my profile. My lines did get darker.

I got 3 positive digitals when I first tested. I didn't even see a line on the First Response tests I did, so I gave up on them, because I just kept getting disappointed and nervous. Take another digital and see what happens with that. Plus, maybe there just isn't enough hormone to show up on the tests, at the time of day your are testing.

Check out my album my line was barely there. Then I tested again it was lighter. Than the next day got darker. Hang in there. I also ripped open my test to see the line better.

Thanks, yea my pics are simlilar but a bit lighter...Ive been testing since Thursday...I just think they should be darker by now...ill do one more for tomorrow, maybe I o;d later than I thought...im prepared for the worst though...just want to move on...

I'm 7 weeks and I just started seeing a dark line so don't worry, your still very early. Hang in there!

Just be careful with those really faint lines (and breaking open the test) because they can be evaporation lines and not true positives (esp. if you wait longer than the time the test instructions suggest). I just don't want you to be crushed b/c I have been there before!
Unfortunately, I think you just need to wait for the bloodwork to come back...

My line didn't get dark until a week after AF was due.
I tested positive with a very, very faint line at 12dpo. I tested at the doctors office the next day and it came back negative. Waited 2 more days and tested with a digital and it's still negative. At that point I didn't think I was pregnant anymore because I was only getting faint lines. Just hang in there. It will get darker. A line is a line!
