If your child is enrolled in Child Health Plus, what plan did you chose
and why?
I am doing a little research and wanted to get some BTDT opinions.

we are not yet enrolled (DS is currently on DH's insurance until their renewal in march), but we're choosing United Healthcare.
why: his ped is on the plan, my cousins have the same plan and they are very very happy with it.

we choose hip because her ped took it, for her i havent had any complaints yet but as for myself, it sucks

when i had this for ds, we had bcbs too..make sure your ped takes it before you pick it though..oh boy do i miss the days of that insurance..no copay, no bill..

We have Americhoice by United Healthcare. I have no problems with them at all. At the time they were the cheapest and the enroller told me that they are basically all the same. It just depends on what the Ped. takes.

I dont recalll every getting a choice. DD is on the Empire b/c b/ s plan though and has been for a few years. We have no issues at all. Our ped takes it. They always cover everything. Weve been to numerous specialists and never had any out of pocket expenses. no complaints.

This is the plan we went with for the same reasons.
