If your DC developed a rash in reaction to the MMR...

What did it look like and did it bother them? I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not but DC had the shot 5 days ago and now has a rash that is bothering him. The rash is mostly on his neck, torso and arms. Its red and blotchy and looks like little red bumps. The weird thing though is that it seems to be bothering him and I thought that the rash reaction wouldn't so I am wondering if this is just a coincidence as it is early for the reaction anyway right? TIA!

My son got a fever 8 days after getting it then the ninth got a blotchy red rash which didn't bother him and lasted one day. I would call your ped just to rest your mind. I'm sure it's just a reaction and nothing serious.

5 days later is a bit early - I think my ped said 7-14 days and most people I think the reaction is around 9. With all the heat could it be heat rash? Why don't you bring him in and let the ped see it?

It seems it is definitely from the MMR. A family member that is a ped saw it today and said it definitely is what it looks like. They said the reaction is typically during those days but can come earlier or later. Today is day 7 and its more noticeable now and on his face as well now.
