OK, Help me through this--MMR Reaction? Rash? Illness? I just don't know...
On Monday, DD got her MMR, H1N1 part I and the chicken pox vaccinations. That night she was not herself--she is usually a sound sleeper and she woke up very frequently crying--no other symptoms. On Tuesday she was cranky and on Wed. night she was just out of it--that's when Iposted about her very high fever and vomiting. The dr. said to give her motrin and to come in if her fever went down and she was still out of it.
Well, she has definitely gotten better in terms of her disposition, but now her lower body has broken out in these tiny red bumps--all over her legs, thighs, a little on her arms--I just don't know what to do about it or where it is from...
Any feedback? Experiences? Advice??

Pretty sure a rash is a common reaction to the MMR. ETA: If you look down at the related topics (I just checked), it seems that it is something to be expected and a normal reaction.

It sounds like an MMR reaction.
Did your ped. mention to you about reactions?

The rash could also be a reaction to the chicken pox - DS got a small rash (bumps on his leg) and the whole leg area was swollen and hard - it lasted for a few days. Also, don't know this personally but a girl in one of DS's classes got the H1N1 and her mom said she broke out in a rash from it - but, that is second hand so not sure the details. Sending you

The rash sounds like a reaction to the shot. I know when DS got his MMR, we were told it's common for a fever or rash to appear within 7-10 days of the vaccine. Hope she feels better soon.

Sounds like a reaction to the MMR. I wouldn't worry to much unless she doesn't get better over the next few days. My ped. said to expect crankiness, fever, rash, etc. for up 14 days after the MMR. Luckily though my DD was fine and had no reaction. I hope that your DD is feeling better soon!!
