I can not imagine how difficult this must be for you. This is not something you want to think about...especially after giving birth to the love of your life. It's so hard, but try to focus on the positives of starting the gameplan...it will help you care for your little one. All you have is this moment.
Just know that you are in my prayers. Here are a bunch of hugs for you!

You have a lot on your plate right now.
Right now with two little ones in the house, I know it's hard to think long term.
Please make the call so you can be a healthier mom to your children for many years to come.

First of all, don't ever think you will be a burden to your children. If anything, you sound like a strong and amazing woman and mother and the only thing your children will feel is an amazing sense of love and appreciation for the person you are. I think that you know what you have to do. You have to make that call. I'm sure it is not an easy one to make but remember that medical science is advancing rapidly and new treatments are being developed. Don't give up and don't lose faith.

My mother has MS. I've watched her go through the injections, the steroids, the IVs. It's very difficult. Just think that while it is horrible to face this disease & to put yourself through all of the treatments, doing so gives you the best possible chances of being as healthy as you can for your kids.
ETA: As far as being a burden to your children, my mother talks about that all the time. Presently, she has strength that amazes me every day. She babysits my children & she's a wonderful grandmother. If she needs any of her children to step up & help her one day in the future, I can promise you, none of us would look at it as a burden. I will be proud to help & do even a fraction of the things she's done for me, my siblings & my children through the years. I'm so sorry you are going through this

Lots of hugs and love, my heart is truly breaking for you.
I deal with this with my mother all the time, she's in deep denial, and will not acknowledge that we, her children, need her to be healthy for us. Even though we aren't really kids, we need our mommy. Your children need their mommy.
Something that motivates me, is that the better I take care of myself, the better example I set for my child. So that my child can learn to keep themselves healthy too.

My grandmother had MS and my aunt has MS. I am not going to try to give you advice on what you should or should not do, you know what you need to do and you will do it when you are ready.
