insurance maternity program ??

insurance maternity program ??
did anyone else have their insurance company call and register them for a maternity program that has counselors and a 24 hour nurse phone line for questions and concerns. . I had never heard of this before and they called me yesterday to register me.
If so, has anyone used this hotline?

no...but that sounds like a great service, wish I had someone to call with my questions because I can't get anyone btu a receptionist on the phone!

My insurance has it and i used it. I think it was called the Well Baby program or something like that. The first time they called I was a little concerned since I didn't know about it either. I have no idea how they got my information either (i'm guessing because of the multiple OB visits and coding) but I did some research and it was completely legit.
Since I had a high risk pregnancy, the counselor called me every few weeks to check up and see how i was doing. I thought it was great to have extra support. It was someone to talk to if I had any questions.

Yeah I think this is the same program. At first I totally thought it was some scam. the woman was totally laughing at me because I made her verify the referall and stuff but I guess it can't hurt!
