Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
we did this when the board was first introduced... there are many new faces.. so lets get to know each other better!!
illl start..
my name is Deanna.. i am 30 , DH is 35.
had 2 losses.
1st one @ 16 Weeks - due to Incompetent Cervix
2nd - Chemical
Currently am seeing a RE.. (Dr. Braverman  ) who specializes in Recurrent losses!
did 4 IUI's. BFN.
and now on my 1st IVF cycle! 
overall TTC since jan of 08 .
 to all !!

My name is Jen. I'm 29 and my husband is 27 (soon to be 28 lol)
We got married on June 14th 2008. We decided to wait a year before TTC. We jumped the gun and kind of started last April but really tried in May and got pg that month. I found out June 5th I was pregnant.
I took the meds to induce my miscarriage on July 15th  I suffered from a blighted ovum (empty sac)
After it all I still had to have a D&C last week and am now recovering and hoping to begin my TTC journey again soon!

I'm Ali age 32, DH is 33.
Got PG in 1/07 with DS on the first try, no complications.
Got PG in 1/09 on first try. I would have even had same due date as I had for DS but had a chemical at 4 weeks
Got PG in 2/09 before getting AF but had another chemical at 4 weeks. MC panel indicated I had MTFHR but they didn't think that was the cause.
Started taking baby aspirin and folgard and TTC again in 5/09 and got PG in 6/09. MC at 7 weeks (no HB) and I had to take the meds but no D&C
This is my first cycle with an RE (Copperman at RMA) so I hope he can figure out what the probem is as we start TTC again this month.

I'm D. DH and I are both 29.
TTC since March. Got PG in July, but m/c in August at about 6.5 weeks.
Dr. said to wait 2 cycles before tyring again. I wish I could say otherwise, but the time is creeping along slowly!

My name is Lisa. Im 26, DH is 27.
We will be married 3 years on Sept. 8.
Our plan was to pay off all our debt before TTC. We paid off our very last thing 5/2/09 and started TTC that night 
In June I started using OPK and we found out we were pregnant on Fathers day. ( kinda stings now)
I have to admit, I was only excited the first week of the pregnancy. After that I started spotting. I was scared and in between doctors since my old GYN is not an OB anymore. I saw him for the spotting and he said I was fine. I saw my new OB a week later. He did a sono and I was about 4.5-5w and we only saw a sac. I went back at 7w and everything looked great except the HB was VERY slow (50-60 BPM) That was the beginning of the end. My OB was cautiously optimistic but I knew it in his eyes that was it. They took blood and my progesterone was 7. They started me on suppositories but a week later I went back for a sono and no growth
Weird thing was, he couldnt say for sure that there was no HB because it looked like there was even though he said it was probably just my uterus contracting because I was so scared. The next day we went to Madonna Perinatal and they confirmed there was no HB
I had a d&c 5 days later.
Im (physically) fully recovered and DH and I have resumed a regular BD schedule so at this point Im waiting for either AF or a BFP(wishful thinking but you never know )

My name is Kim 31, DH-35
We've been ttc off and on for about 2.5 yrs. My RE is Dr. Brenner, but currently doing some research on other doctors and thinking about switching to Dr. Braverman.
I've been through (4) IUI's, the last one successful, but ended in a miscarriage when I was 7.5 weeks. Had a D&C June 4th.
We are not actively ttc right now, that is why I feel a little weird about posting on here sometimes, but I know all you ladies give each other such great support and we will all get through this together.
I'm hoping to find another RE by October and starting again soon after that.
I wish everyone the best of luck!!!

I'm 29 and DH is 30
Got PG in Jan and lost it at 9 weeks for unknown reason, but did have a slight detachment in the placenta around 6-7 weeks, had a D&C
Got PG again a few weeks after D&C without ever getting AF and lost it around 5 weeks, never had a heartbeat and didn't develop very far, D&C for this as well since i never MC
Now TTC again after 2 full cycles
We've decided not to go to a specialist yet and staying positive!

I'm Kristin. I am 29 and DH is 32. We started TTC in the fall of 2007. We had no luck on our own and started seeing an RE in July 2008. I have egg quality issues.
I had 4 unsuccessful IUIs and on my 5th IUI I got pregnant. Sadly, I miscarred this past March. There were some complications involved and I was in a terrible period of limbo for about 2 1/2 weeks. It was a very difficult time, but I received a tremendous amount of support from the ladies on this board and the IF board. I had a D&C and we learned that we lost the baby because it was 69 XXY (a normal baby is either 46 XX or 46 XY). The chromosomal abnormality was due to an egg quality issue.
We waited one cycle and then did our first cycle of IVF. We were ecstatic when we found out that it worked and that we were pregnant with twins. Sadly, we lost one of the babies around 7 weeks However, I am very fortunate that the other baby is doing well and I am due in February.

My husband and I are both in our early 30's...
I had my first miscarriage at 10 weeks due to unknown reasons, and my 2nd was at 15 weeks, due to unknown reasons also (though thought to be incompetant cervix)

Hi Ladies! My name is Heather & I am 32(just had a birthday), DH is 27. We were married 7/7/07 & decided to TTC this January 2009 & got PG in February, 1st try after using OPK. We had one positive dr. appt., where we saw the baby in sono but next time I went back for spotting there was no HB at 9 weeks. I had D & C in April and we decided to wait. Loss was chromosonal (spelling) & I was diagnosed with MTHFR gene mutation & am on folgard.
I should be O'ing now & we decided to start trying last night.
Best of luck to you all. Thank you for being so supportive these past few months and I hope to see you all on the PG board in the next few months

My name is Jamie i'll be 25 next week and DH is 26.
Had first mc last week at 5 weeks. Levels were not doubling and have just begun to SLOWLY decrease. Now I have to go to the drs office twice a week until i'm down to 0.
This is the part that kills me being in the office with all the other PG women. Even the girl that draws my blood is pregnant 
I'll be finding a new dr once this is all over with I just found them totally unsupportive and if its like this with a mc I can imagine being pg with them.
Hoping to start ttc at the end of sept or beg of October if everything normals out.

HI, my name is Kristin and I am 28, Dh is 28 as well. We will be celebrating our first anniversary on 9/13/09. We started TTC in late May and got pregnant that first month of trying.
We found out that we lost the baby at a little over 9 weeks when the doctor could not locate a heartbeat. We had previously seen and heard the heartbeat 2x before that.
Had the D&C a week later on July 7 or 8. I have since gotten AF twice now (once a week after D&C and then about 26-27 days after that). We are going to start trying again, I'm just worried about putting too much pressure on ourselves.

Hi ladies

-Trying since June 2008 use CBEFM
-1 loss in Feb. and had a D&C 1 week after.
Since Feb I've had irregular AF and sought out a RE in July. Had my first IUI on 8/14. BFN this morning but still no AF. So, not sure whats going on. but thankful for all your prayers and support.

UPDATE: 13 months later, 2 miscarriages I got pregnant with my DD. She is currently 8 months old!!! I worked with Cornell and used Lovenox and Baby Aspirin for my protocal.

My name is Rachel, I am 30 and DH is 32
I had my first Miscarriage a week ago at 8 weeks pregnant
They told me at 6 1/2 weeks that the heart rate was to slow at 75bpm. At that point they said things were not looking good. However, I was still trying to stay optimistic. Then went back at 8 weeks and there was no heart beat at all.
I took the misoprostrol.
Later, I got pregnat again right after Thanksgiving and had my 2nd miscarriage. This one was a natural miscarriage, which I was not expecting.
I am now working with a RE and looking forward to one day sharing my success story with you all~
to us all!

Hi Ladies!
I'm Mayghen, 22 years old, DH is 26. We were blessed with our boy boy, who is actually 8 months today!
We TTC in June, we got pregnant on our first try, and I miscarried when I was 6 weeks. I started miscarrying on my own, but went to the OB and got blood work. They told me my levels were rising and its possible I was just bleeding, but still pregnant. I only bleed for about 3 or 4 days. Went back again, still rising, my third blood work I was -2, so we knew I miscarried. Miscarrying was hard enough, and then for them to keep getting me hopeful and let down, but just miserable. I've been going through alot of stress from miscarrying, and finding out my brother who is only 27 was diagnosed with cancer, so its been a rough 2 months, hoping next month is better for us all!
We started TTC in August again, BFN, so on to september for us!

I tested this morning when I woke up BFN I still have one early test left in box. Not sure when to test again. I have 3 $ store tests too, but they're not early response tests... I'm trying to not get discouraged, especially after the sore boobs & constant need to pee When should I tests again or should I just leave it alone until AF is due? This is what I did last time, I didn't test until AF due date. Ugg, I am so aggrivated I told myself that I would be ok if I got negative this month, since I didn't use OPK's or temping, just went by CM & online calendars/calculators. But I'm not ok, I'm aggrivated b/c another month may go by & its already been 5 since D & C.

I wrote this on your other post but I will put it here too: I dont think you are out yet. I would wait until after AF is due. The first time I tested was 1 single day before AF was due and I used the FRER. There wasnt even the faintest line. 2 days after Af was due and BFP on a digital.
