Introducing new foods - won't even open his mouth!

Can anyone give any insight on how to introduce "new" foods? Examply - DS has only ever eaten pasta once. For some reason, he just won't open his mouth! I keep trying and trying. I've started to let him touch it, get his hands in it, hoping some would make it into his mouth Chat Icon

Of course it's not just pasta. Any ideas on how to get their toddler to at least try new foods when you don't have the power of reasoning behind you?

Oh no Farah! T is being a stubborn little eater, is he? I have absolutely no advice except try, try again - C used to hate bananas but now she's starting to eat them (on her own, that is), just because I keep on giving them to her, but I'm sure you're doing that already. If it makes you feel any better, Carys gags on pasta, she cannot figure out how to eat it at all!!

Good luck! Chat Icon
