Yes. From time to time I won't be able to send imessages. It's a known issue. I just shut my phone down and then turn it on and it seems to work again.

iPhone update question
I wonder if the update has nothing to do the update. I haven't updated but sometimes I send a text, it shows that its sent to the person but they never receive receive it. And sometimes when someone sends me a message , they show that the text has been sent but I don't get it.

iPhone update question
All the time -- I send an iMessage and randomly it doesn't go through sometimes. I've also had problems downloading apps from the app store with my phone, and updating apps through my computer in iTunes.

iPhone update question
Yes. It is annoying as hell. I have the 4 and it runs so slow as well. I think the update was their way to boost sales of new phones bc old ones like mine just can't keep up

iPhone update question
Mine started after the update to the update.
I get the 5s in a few days and the issue only happens on occasion so I'm just dealing til then.

Re: iPhone update question
YES! I have two iPhone 5's and both are getting hung up when I send an iMessage. I've reset the network settings after turning off iMessage and FaceTime and it clears the problem up.

iPhone update question
Don't do the update! I did it this morning and lost half my apps - one of them was settings - and have to use a pin number every time go to use the phone or read a text. I am so irritated by it but haven't had a spare hour or so to call apple to complain. I'll do it now that I have just gotten home. What a pain. I also do NOT like the new interface. I can hardly see the numbers and everything has been shifted around. This is not just a pain, it's a royal pain. I am due for a new phone and am seriously thinking of switching.
UPDATE: I just got off the phone with apple and the girl I spoke with was able to show me how to restore my apps, back up everything and turn off the annoying password once I had my settings app back.

Re: iPhone update question
I traded my 4s for the Samsung Galaxy 4. Ever since the update I wasn't able to receive texts from anyone who had an iphone that did the update.
What you have to do is go into your settings, touch messages and turn on your SMS (make it green)The new upgrade automatically turned it off. That's why I wasn't receiving texts from people bc their phones were still registering my phone as an iphone and trying to send an iMessage while their SMS was off (regular text). So if your text doesn't go through as an iMessage it would automatically go through as an SMS. With the SMS off it won't do that. Hope this helps some.

iPhone update question
LOL. Read this... "We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update," Apple said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.
The fact that I am a part of the "fraction of a percent" so is laughable... What a black cloud we all have

Re: iPhone update question
I've been having massive issues with mine, SO have an iphone as well and also having issues. The most annoying thing for though is that both our phones are dropping calls like crazy. Before the update we never had an issue with call failing, now it's all the time. We have Verizon, which is suppose to be good as far as service. So not the case.

Re: iPhone update question
Only through Siri. This was an actual conversation this week:
Me: "Send message to Phil: 'I'm on my way.'"
Siri: "Ok. I'm ready to send your message. Should I send it?"
Me: "Yes."
...Really long pause...
Siri: "I don't understand 'Yes.'"

iPhone update question
my sensor isn't working as well. i slide & i slide, and it takes like 5+ swipes to get things going. never happened until i updated. and i have a 5. also, getting calls - rings once and then that's it. I have no idea what that's about, but it happens every day since the update.
doesn't bother me too much though. i don't use my phone that much.
