Is anyone else just as annoyed by the new FB changes? And can you change it back etc.
I get an email saying they will not be notifying me as much , I can change it back- to get e mail notifications, I can't, now they changed the layout- my settings etc. I am seriously thinking of deleting the account. Can someone help me get it to all notifications sent by email , also how can I change my settings back to what they were? HELP! Does anyone else feel sour about the new FB changes? I think it is more confusing then ever, and not worth the hassle.
ETA I changed it to annoyed instead of disturbed, I was half asleep this morning when I posted this originally.

They probably did not get to your account yet- enjoy the old layout while you can.

They are a company that continues to better their product.
Get over it, or stop using it! Everyone said the same thing last time they changed! (you know, the old new layout they you miss so much now)

I don't really like the new layout. What I do hate is that now you can't see Photos by albums uploaded anymore. (If anyone knows how to change this setting please let me know).

Anytime they changed the layout it really never bothered me. But this change is horrible.

I dont know, I think its really similar, just grouped into categories and have buttons at the top for status, question, etc. I like the smaller feed at the side.
Its just FB, there is always an uproar when they change anything and then everyone gets used to it. I think its just a matter of getting used to but more or less functions the same.

Someone told me that if you go into your account setting and change the language to English UK (or somethime like that) it will revert back to the old layout.
Not sure if it's true or not but people have been thanking her for the tip. I don't have access to FB at work so I can't try it myself.

I read that they are no longer emailing notifications anymore, which I prefer because I would get 100 emails a day.

I just tried this and it didn't work.
And really, there's no need to be SO snarky with people who are dissatisfied with the changes. They have every right to complain about being annoyed, regardless of FB's decision to make the changes. FB makes money based off of how many users they have (ergo, advertisers pay to have access to those users). If their users are dissatisfied, they should pay attention.
No change or refresh to a site will be universally accepted, but there is no reason to roll our eyes at those who actually chose to voice their displeasure.

Just an FYI on the subscribe button & privacy. Allowing subscribtions also allows people you may not want to have access to your profile to have access:
Hear from people you’re interested in, even if you’re not friends
You've always been subscribed to friends. Now you can keep up with journalists, celebrities, political figures and other people you’re interested in too. You can get their public updates in your News Feed by going to their profile and clicking on the Subscribe button. Once you subscribe, you can see their public posts in your News Feed.Facebook: Help Center
Not everyone has allowed subscribers. If you have turned this on already, you can decide to change your mind and no longer allow subscribers. 1. From your profile, click the Subscribers link on the left side menu 2. Click the Edit Settings button on the right 3. Next to the Subscribers setting, choose to turn subscribers Off

FB doesn't care about our opinions because they have millions of users world wide... and only AMERICANS are this self centered (change it, i don't like it!!!)

It's flipping Facebook. Why do people get so worked up about this? If you don't like it, don't use it. Or learn how to use it. Or start your own damn website. This b!tching is getting so old

Sorry folks. I just don't see the need to be nasty and sarcastic to other posters who express their opinions. Seems to be a theme on these boards lately.
That's all!
