I read that this is yet another thing you can do, along with the fan, to prevent SIDS. Then of course they say you can put in an air purifier as well. I mean, when you add it all up-- the kid's room will look like a Bed, Bath & Beyond.
I am a little concerned for the air quality in the nursery because it's a second bedroom in an apt-- and while a big room, does not have a window-- not like I would have the windows open in winter anyway... but, I don't know. I just want it to be healthy.

I have both a warm mist and cool mist humidifier. I only use them when DS is sick though, not daily.

since we have forced air heat, its very dry in our condo. So yes, we got a humidfider. Its not a warm-air though, its a regular one. Its a pooh bear one from BRU. We'll only use this in the winter though. Not all year long.
