i'll try but it won't be the only source of nutrition for the baby. I did it partially with my daughter.. it worked well but she was greedy.. lol. and i didn't produce enough milk for her.. hopefully this time I will....

I was on the fence but decided to try it in the hospital. DS has taken very well to it and he needs the comfort that BFing provides. I am glad I did it.

I agree - I was on the fence as well, but I heard about all the benefits of bf and decided I had to at least try and it seems to be going well. It is demanding, but it is worth it.

Frankly, no amount of posts/threads or opinions could sway me either way on either topic.
Good point! I am really hoping to breastfeed, but it is such a personal choice and so many different factors weight in for different women, from health to work to comfort level.

I am going to try - if it doesn't work so be it. If I do it I think it will only be for 6 weeks or so.

Not me. I'm not even going to try. I have no real reason to back up my decision. Its just something I never even considered, never will consider & theres nothing that would sway my decision otherwise.
Ouch!! I just read this over. My post sounds harsh Didn't mean to be. BF is just not for me.

My SIL was the same way and it's nothing to apologize over. Its a personal decision.  You do what you feel is right.
