Is Anyone Up? Mucus Plug ?? A Little TMI....sorry...
for the BTDT mommy's.....
i think i have been losing my mucus plug sporadically during the day/evening....
the first time - i didn't realize it until i flushed and saw 'something' in the toilet...kinda looked odd/weird. Only way to describe it was kinda 'clotty'....
i've been having brownish TP wipes during the day/evening and 3 bathroom trips ago - i had RED on the TP.
i went twice since and had NOTHING on the tp, but some 'stuff' in the bowl...(same as earlier - reddish, clotty looking like things)..
no major pain, slight cramping, i have been VERY busy today (yankee game this evening, lots of walking). i did have an internal today (earlier - at 8:30 AM'ish) and at my growth sono at 1:00 - they told me that her face is RIGHT up against my cervix....so part of me thinks it's just 'that'....
I KNOW the plug can regenerate - but do you think i should be concerned and calling the doc??

How far along are you?
If you're close to the end, I'd say it just sounds like your mucus plug and I bet you'll be in labor within the next week (or day, who knows!)!!

Since you are so close to the end, and you had an interal today, it probably is your plug.
Hopefully that means labor is soon!!

It sounds like your muscus plug to me. If I remember correctly I lost mine on a Friday and my water broke on Monday.

36 weeks, 6 days on Wednesday......
So let's say 37 weeks.  Baby is considered full term, so you'd be good to go!!
That said, you may as well call the doc in the morning just to put your mind at ease.

it does regenerate though - no? the plug....
tonight was more walking than i've done in 6 months!

i'm prepared for HER - not me! Though to be honest - all i TRULY need to still pack is my clothing - i have pj's, undies, pads, etc... I COULD make it work....
i don't think i'm contracting - no.... they hooked me up to the monitor this AM at the appointment - because Emma's heartrate was in the 180's when i was with my doc....and my contractions were not above 20 at any point - more like stable around 11-13 or so.... I was on the monitor for roughly 45 minutes....and they were happy with her rate and mine. My BP was also high - another reason they put me on the monitor (but i'm also sick - bad chest/head cold/fever).

Make a quick list for dh of everything that should be in the bag and tape it to the bag!! This way whatever is missing he can pick up for you and if not the hospital has everything you will need!!

i have a list - i'll take it off the computer and put it in my notebook for him and tomorrow - i'll get it all packed - for sure!!!
dave keeps going - wait, she could come earlier than the 4th now??? (we're due for an induction on the 4th).

ita, mine "came out" twice..the first time over a period of a few days..the second time was new years day and i did ALOT of walking in the mall because i was so aggravated she still wasnt here yet lol..that nite, a HUGE amount of plug came out (sorry if TMI, but it was like nothing ive ever seen b4),,the next day, i still had no contractions or anything, but had an appt at the hospital to check my fluid, and they induced me because it was low..
it took alot for contractions to start, so had they not induced me, i mayve gone longer..
have your stuff ready!! But try and enjoy the last few days your dh and you have alone!! good luck!!
