are you asking if you'd consider asking your doctor to induce you?

I think it depends on what techniques you are trying. I certainly wouldn't do castor oil or the stronger herbs, but you can use Evening Primrose oil to ripen the cervix and I recently heard of a homeopathic (I'll post it if I can remember it).
Basically, the natural techniques won't put you into labor unless you are ready to go, they just give your body a little jump start, so I think it's fine to try some stuff once you are past 37 weeks (but no strong herbs or castor oil).

Thanks I was trying to tell DH again that it will happen when it happens just like the first time. And I would never do the caster oil YUCK!

i agree. i have read in several publications that there are still big differences in baby's neurological development from 37-40 weeks. meaning the closer to 40 weeks the better, even if you're technically considered full term.

I tired a few things like sex, spicy food, walked, bounced on a yoga ball...
Nothing worked...
My doc said babies only come when they r ready, and if the natural ways do induce labor then it really was just ur time.
