Is LIVE kidding me?!?!? Aryan babies
Are the producers at LIVE smoking crack? Maybe I am late on the bandwagon on this one because I didn't even enter my child into the contest, but could they pick any more blond kids!??!!?!?

I really find this utterly horrifying and I am about to compose an email to the contest sponsors. I suppose the child who won is sort of brunette, but how about a little more diversity, variety - SOMETHING?! No offense against blonds, but COME ON!
Is anyone else totally disgusted?! They all look like they could be Kelly Ripa's kids.

For some reason the winners pic won't load, but I see the runner up pics. They all look like they could be siblings!
Ahh I see her now. Well she looks brunette to me! Actually she looks a lot like me when I was little with those pigtails and bangs

Well, I was going to say that it's nice that they don't have to be politically correct...but then I opened the link...not only do the kids all look alike, but they are not even that cute!

Honestly I think what happened has to do with the photoshoot that comes along with winning...like they had a certain look in mind and that's how they picked the baby..I mean the baby had to be 6 months by the middle of December right???? Why would a cute baby contest disqualify 6 months worth of babies???? UGH!

You should definitely write an e-mail. Also, it seems that all but one of the babies has blue eyes. ITA, there wasn't any diversity.

we didn't enter but now that I've seen the results I doubt that those were the most beautiful babies entered?  that runner up baby from NC is funny looking. That's one of the most beautiful babies submitted to them? I don't think so.

While I think all of those children are beautiful, I agree that they look very similar and there is definitely a lack of diversity. It's as if they were type-cast.

Am I the only one who doesn't see the big deal? Last year, there was tons of diversity in the finalists. This year there wasn't. Big deal. I think calling them Aryan babies is a bit much.

You're not the only one - I agree with you. Yes they share a "look" but these are the photoshoot pics, not the pictures submitted.
and winner is clearly a brunette (not as cute as MY Ella, but whatever).

ITA. Aryan is really not a nice term.
The thing that bothers me the most about this contest is that they put the kid's full name and town. We are the only people with our last name in the phone book in our town, so it would be easy for any creep to find us. I wrote to them about it last year but they didn't change it.

Yeah, honestly, what is the big deal?
I really think the OPs use of the word "aryan" is not right. That isn't a word that should be used lightly. It is one thing to say that you have a bunch of fair skinned babies, but I think aryan is not a good word.

i personally think the kids that were picked are adorable!! it's obviously the look they were searching for! they definitly have a look in mind when they look for a new model...you could have the cutest baby in the world with black hair and if its a blonde they are looking for they wlll pick the blonde!! I wouldn't think too much about it!

Aryan has a very negative connotation to it. Technically, I had an Aryan look as a child, but I was far from Aryan as MANY would consider. I dont take things like this too seriously.
