Is the time stamp fixed now?

At least it was working when I started this post. Let's hope they fixed the time stamp issue.

No, I just posted and it's saying I did at 2:45am instead of now.

I noticed that, too. It was accurate for a little while, but now the posting times are way off. No negative seconds ago, but the time is still not working right.

I'm posting this at 7:08am 12/8, but it's saying 11:08am 12/7

This is worse, posting this far in the past shows everything as read. I prefer -3 seconds time stamp!

I'm doing math in my head for all of the posts... everything is 20 hours earlier than it's actually posted, so "20 hours ago" is within the last hour. "21 hours ago" is roughly an hour ago.

Not easy or fun to have to do constantly....

Not quite. Everyone who knows me on here for 14 years knows that I see all of the details and track a lot of statistics. I've run several discussion boards, so I see what's going on immediately. I just can't do anything about it. I saw it way before you mentioned it, I just didn't post about it because I was hoping that TPTB were working on stuff behind the scenes.

Threads are randomly moving around too.
The thread about a house for sale has no replies and was further down the page and is now at the top even though it didn't get a reply to bump it.

It's actually not random. For a while, all of the posts had the correct time stamp, then they were marked 8 hours earlier. So, for that 8 hour block of time, the house for sale post was "newer" than the new posts with the wrong time.

Yeah, it was off as of late last night. I've almost given up on posting all of the times it's off, and by how much.

Ugh I really thought it was finally fixed yesterday, guess not! Anybody( Goldenrod) know why the timestamp can't be fixed? Or TBTB just not even trying?

If it was a fixed time that it was off, I could probably come up with some ideas. The fact that it's accurate some times, 8 hours off for a while, 20 hours for a while, then 8, then accurate, etc.... without having access to the server, I don't have a clue what's going on.

The forum timestamp *should* just pull the time from the server, and the server *should* be getting the time from a "time server" on the Internet that has accurate time. Bouncing around like it's doing is really strange.
