Lily is a funny little character. She loves people and she loves attention, and she's recently discovered that she can get attention in different ways. Sometimes, she sings and dances for people and says hello and smiles. Other times, she buries her head in my neck and then gives little smiley glances at people....playing the shy card.

Re: Is your child a "people person?"
My dd is 3.5 months old so she is still young but she will let anyone hold her and smiles at EVERYONE! I am always wondering if I am really all that special to her b/c she smiles at me the same way she smiles at people she has never seen before!

Re: Is your child a "people person?"
Oh lord, no. Neither one of them...yet they're so different.
#1 is verrrry shy. Even among friends she's known a while, she occasionally can be very clingy to me until she loosens up. When strangers say hi to her, she usually looks down and in a little tiny voice says "hi" back only with my prompting.
#2 is not shy at all, but has a real attitude problem. If someone she doesn't know says hi to her, she'll give them a look like and turn to me and in a loud, embarassing voice say, "WHO talkin' to me mama?!" Yesterday while waiting in the dance studio during her sister's lesson, she was wildly dancing and singing loudly and if someone dared to actually look at her, she'd turn to me and say, "WHY that person lookin' at me mama?" I think I've told the story on here already when someone on the street said to her friend, "Oh these TWO (meaning my two girls) are so cute." To which DD stopped dead in her tracks turned around and LOUDLY exclaimed, "I NOT cute and I NOT a tuna!!" With this face ...oh Jeez.

Re: Is your child a "people person?"
i would say that dd(12.5 months old) is people person except around men!
as soon as any man (other than daddy) comes near her she will pout , then the eyes start to well up with tears, and then she will turn and cling on to whoever is holding her..
