It just might be time to take her out of the jewish school
So today is a jewish holiday and I suppose she learned about it at school this week. She goes to preschool at a conservative synogogue so they teach a lot about the jewish faith and culture.
So, daddy gets home about 30 minutes ago and turns on the TV. Alex runs over, turns off the TV, runs back to DH, wags her finger in his face and says NO TV ABA, IT'S SHABBAS!! 
This, from a little girl whose parents are jewish, but also atheist!!

I actually had to think what day it was. I guess they teach them that the rules of Shabbos apply to holidays as well. Im glad Alex is able to apply things she learns in school. That is awesome. Give her a big "Chag Sameach" from Tanta Leah! (Ok that's Yiddish but close enough!)

Yeah I did a double take when I realized she had applied the shabbas rules to the jewish holiday. My bubby would be so proud!
