Itchy breasts!

I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant and I can't stop itching my breasts! The skin that itches the most is the skin surrounding the areoli (not the actual nipples themselves). Does anyone else have this and how do I stop it? Trying to itch them while I'm at work is always so much fun! Chat Icon

I used to get that too! My doc told me to stop using soap on my areolas/nipples and it has helped-it doesn't happen anymore so there's hope!

The same thing happened to me in the beginning of my pregnancy. Mine were itchy and dry. It was horrible. I told my doctor and she told me to buy hydrocortisone cream and apply ot the the area. It worked wonders. Now I put Aveeno lotion on that area after each shower. I would ask your doctor about it because as yoy know every doctor has a different opinion. I hope this helps. Chat Icon
