Jack fell off the bed this morning
I'm still in shock. DH was watching him while I went to get a diaper and of course it happened so fast - within a second.
He landed flat on his back. Screamed for a while - but was ok after awhile.
He wasn't lethargic - didn't throw up - and ate breakfast after.
Should I be worried about him going down for his nap now? Should I call my ped?

I would just watch him and make sure he does not seem lethargic or have any other symptoms...I would def call the ped if you are concerned though, that is what they are there for

same thing happened to my dc while dh was watching her. i think my dc cried more out of shock then the pain. she was fine after just keep an eye on him.

Maybe watch him a little more, but if it makes you feel better to call your pediatrician, I would just for the peace of mind.
I hope poor Jack is okay and just got a little scared

Thanks everyone. Of course I am going to be so paranoid during this entire nap - ugh! He really was acting completely fine after - I do think he was crying out of shock. It's just so damn scary!

Well, you could call the ped office and talk to the dr and see what they suggest.

He should be fine. Keep an eye out and if something seems off or wrong then be quick to react but honestly he should be fine.
Lucas has fallen a few times, bashed his head a bunch more...my doctor told me to hold on...with boys it's a bumpy ride

I called my ped when my friends kid fell off the highchair onto ceramic tile so I remember what to look out for - which is why I'm not rushing to call. Maybe I'll call anyway - just in case.

As long as he is acting fine now he should be ok. Same thing happened to my DS. He fell off my bed right onto my UGG boot, I was right next to him. We were both crying but he was ok.

Ale has fallen off like 3 times.
Is it hard floor underneath, or carpeted? We have ultra-thick carpeting so she didn't even cry.
He sounds like he is fine.

Our room is the only room in the house that still has the "builder's carpet" so it's not that thick and fluffy.
I was contemplating banging my head on the ground to see how hard it hurts (I really really was lol)

Its ok...Noah fell head first onto the hardwood floor off our bed, he was ok.
Its sooo scary afterwards though
