Jenny Craig people, come on in! Some questions for ya...
Hi there,
I'm just wondering if any of you can tell me what the breakdown is per meal (fats, dairy, veggies, fruit, protein, etc)?
I am going to be eating out a few days next week, and I'd love to know the breakdowns. I already went to my consultation this week, so any help would be great!

My consultant gave me a little card with tons of info for eating out...here is the break down on "meal on my own"
1200/1500 calorie level
breakfast 1 meat 2 starches 1 fat 1 milk
lunch 2 meat 2 starches 1 vegetable 1 fat
Dinner 4 meats 2 starches 1 vegetable 1 fat
If you're at the 1700/2000/2300 level, you add a fruit to breakfast and lunch and a veggie and fruit to dinner

Is 1 meat = 1 oz, 2 meat = 2 oz, etc?
I should know that right?!
The people at Jenny Craig are not really helpful...

I did Jenny Craig a few years ago. I think the big thing is really portion control. You may want to ask your server to bring you a salad plate with your meal, eat only when fits on that plate, and have the rest wrapped. HTH!
