jetblue cancels my flight 2 months early
so peeood right now. got a msg that jetblue cancelled my 8pm flight in January, now it's 4:30 so of course I have to leave work early (it's a wed flight)
wwyd? i feel like calling them and asking for some kind of cash or point bonus in return for inconveniencing me!

for that big a time difference, you should be able to get a full refund. that happened to me once with an american airlines flight - there was a 2+ hour difference in the flights and they refunded my full fare.

I'd definitely ask for something back. Not a full refund, if you plan to still take the flight, but an upgrade or miles or a partial refund definitely. I've heard jetblue is pretty good about it, too.

you should call and explain you get hourly and because of this you will be losing money from your paycheck. And ask to speak to supervisors. maybe they will do somethign for you.

It doesn't hurt to ask.
I got a call from them today that my flights in January had changed - the changes were minor though. I got scared after seeing your post and hearing their message though (they took forever to let me know what the change was - and they only have one flight to Phoenix a day).

I emailed them on the Speak up feature on the website. Supposedly they'll get back to me in a week
Guess i'll wait a bit then call back to get someone higher up on the phone.

They did that to us...
The "new" flight was at an inconvenient time, so I called and they refunded all my money...

Delta changed our honeymoon flight and made in 24 hours earlier... UM NOOOO!!!!
They did not offer anything for the inconveinience, except did not charge us to change our whole honeymoon by 2 days since we could not go a day earlier. THEN they changed us again to a stopover that was insane, we had to change everything again. They did nothing for us at all, not upgrade, discount, NADA. I called them a million times. I will never fly Delta again, they were so rude about the whole thing.

Why don't you just call now? I like JetBlue, but the people answering their SpeakUp emails seem to have severe reading comprehension problems--and to wait a week for a bad answer is silly.
Since the time changed, they will likely give you a full refund.

after much discussion in my family we decided to change the flight to the next am at 7am. Now i have to get the old folks up and out by like 4:30am
Jetblue emailed me back after I complained online, and basically said sorry screw you.
Just got off the phone rearranging the schedule, and I asked if they'd give free upgraded seats for the inconvenience and she said um no.
