joint medicines...
I noticed my dog has been having a hard time getting up the stairs lately. We are taking him to the vet this week. He is 9 years old. I was wondering if any of you give something for your dog? and if so what?

My parents give their collie Cosequin tablets. They've noticed a marked improvement in his mobility. Plus, they are liver flavored and he loves them. 
ETA: I think they get it from BJs, but any pet store- Pet Smart or Petland Discounts should have it. Walmart, too.

yep, glucosomine
trader joes has them for dogs-that's the ones I use! Also, fish oil acts as a natural anti-inflammatory-I give those too ! (from trader joes as well!)
there are treats out there and food that also have glucosomine it them! I totally see the difference with and without this supplement!
