The Duggars are now trying to destroy the evidence. They are using the excuse that one of the girls is still a minor. With this request they have outright admitted that Joy was also a victim. Joy will be 18 in October.
Basically, they just want this to all go away. I seriously doubt they care about Joy. It's more about trying to rebuild the parents' and Josh's reputation buy shredding the evidence. A court order won't change the fact that this report if out there. It is everywhere! Once it shows up on the internet, it will always be on the internet.

I give him credit. Facing it head on, accepting he made a mistake and moving forward.
I don't care what anyone says. When a child of 15 years old makes a mistake it is sealed for a reason. So things stupid children do cant haunt them for the rest of their lives.
I find it hard to REALLY judge him on his 15 year old self.
I had to go to MY parents because I woke up 2 nights in a row (when I was 9?) because my brother was coming into my room and touching me....when he was 12. Yes, it was creepy, but it was stopped. I don't think my brother should have a criminal record for that.
You would be fine if your 15 yr old son did this to your daughter then and call it a mistake too?

Don't forget premarital kissing! That is terribly wrong, but molesting a preschooler is totally acceptable.
For god sake they don't let their 21-year-old daughter go on a date without a chaperone. But this pig can continue to live in a house with these young girls who he violated. Disgusting.

 I'm beyond disgusted and shocked. When this story broke, I thought he was getting some from a slutty 15yo. I had no idea... Boy, was I wrong!
Sick sick disturbing and disgusting  sorry. While he may not have headed to jail, I think he needed a hefty program as opposed to the usual Jesus band-aid....

Gross.. No credit whatsoever and i also didn't condone or think it was normal when that other actress talked about "touching" her little sister. Disgusting! I would flip if a preteen or teen touched my child and I would be seriously disturbed if my son did this to a child.
This is why so many kids are molested and nothing happens to the predator till it's too late or even at all. I could never have married someone who admitted to touching his little sisters at the age of 15.

If he was 15 and a minor, shouldn't all this information be sealed? How did this information get out? I'm not defending him but there is a system in place that is supposed to prevent stuff like this.

Pumpkin I'm not sure about this in Arkansas, but I believe statutory standards have a lot to do with Age difference between victim and minor.. Again I could be wrong but I'm curious, too

I have....so many thoughts.
1. Jim Boob doesn't care about the victims because they're girls. Girls don't matter.
2. No way in hell did any of them get legitimate counseling. I understand that they live and die by their faith, which is fine for them but they're using it as a crutch and, IMO trivializing what happened by speaking only of their faith and no concrete action. Josh and the girls need help the church cannot give them.
3. Even if Anna wanted to leave she couldn't- she has no job and no skills other than spreading her legs. In their realm, she is worthless unless she's breeding and she really believes that.
4. I have no sympathy for Jim Boob and Michelle- they chose to put their family in the limelight, now they pay the consequences.

I knew it wouldn't be long before a sick story about this camp came to light. This "rumor" has been around for a long time and it's finally starting to surface to mainstream media with disturbing details. At least the heat is finally on these people for the sick shit that goes on behind the Bible-reading scenes and people start to see these creeps for who they really are and knock them off their pedestal. It's so sick and twisted how women are treated in their world. The father probably blames them just for being female and "tempting" him because after all he's just a guy and has to suppress his urges. I hope these poor girls get counseling and get out.
It will be interesting to see how TLC reacts or tries to cover for them. They seem to be TLC's little cash cow... or TLC has a big hard on for them. People have done far less and gotten their endorsements and tv shows pulled off the air and sent to the unemployment line, yet this family with their continued hatred and bigotry continues to thrive on the network untouched. I don't see how they can continue to protect them any longer though. I don't see how this show can continue airing with a scandal of this magnitude looming over their heads like a black cloud. They're done.
ETA: I'm infuriated by the fact that the mother was making robocalls not too long ago denying the LGBT community protection against discrimination and instilling fear and hatred by saying transgendered individuals shouldn't be allowed in locker rooms or bathrooms for fear they might molest children, yet she's been harboring a child molester in her own home for years!!!!!

Hold on, these are the same people that do not allow hand holding, kissing, sex before marriage, only side hugs instead of body contact hugs.
Yet freakin molesting ones own sisters is ok ?
15 is more than old enough to know right from wrong, even when it is veiled in religion.

I hope that TLC pulls their show.

I agree. This wasn't your run of the mill teenage stupidity, what he did is inexcusable. It's also sick and NOT normal. You have to wonder if he'll do it again, if he was capable once before it isn't unreasonable to think the urge might always be there.

Honestly Josh always kind of gave me a creepy vibe but this this is beyond comprehension. At 15 you are definitely old enough to know better. Initially when this first came out I thought oh ok maybe it was a 15 year old friend of his sisters big deal maybe they were experimenting but now that it's out that it was his sisters and one as young as 4...that is totally unacceptable to me. SO disgusting and sad.
As far as his parents..I was a Duggar fan. I honestly don't know how to feel about them at this point. On one hand what he did was despicable and wrong but he is still their son too...I'm sure they love him as much as they love their other children. I can't judge them for what they did or didn't do in this situation because God forbid I couldn't even imagine if I was put in a position like that.
