Seriously - I cannot believe the man would come ring your doorbell to debate that he is right.Chat Icon

This just happened to ILs this week. The kids (and I use the word loosely, they are 13 or so) were bored and wanted to play tag or Wolf or some crap, so the one kid climbs MILs fence & hides in the bushes right under her Br window. DH went out to yell at them & the kid mouthed They off to him. He went next door to talk to the kids' father and he was like, "Well they are home from school, what do you want me to do?" DH was like, "Well they are trespassing and we have big dogs that could bite. Really they need to stay out of our yard, it is not a public park." The kids' father told DH he was overreacting, and that the kids can play wherever they want Chat Icon

So when they came back into MILs yard DH turned the sprinklers on them.

WHAT overreacting. I would hope the dog would bite the kid in the butt and then lets see who overreacts.

Thats what I should do - pull the hose on them Chat Icon Chat Icon

Unbelieveable! Chat Icon I can't believe the nerve of that father. And I'll bet if the dog did bite the kid, the father would be right there ready to sue you. It's seriously no wonder the kids are totally rude, look at the level of entitlement of that father.

I can relate! I am on a corner lot and have the biggest propety. I had so much side yard the neighbors behind me's kids played all kinds of games etc there(my babies at the times room was on that side) anyway I fenced in both my side yards. Their mom had the nerve to come over and bytch me out for taking away their play area!Chat Icon

What kind of dog do you have? I would call the police, b/c if god forbid something happens and the dog hurts one of the children. That way you would have the report that said you warned them. That might help, IMO.

I have a golden retriever. Totally harmless but if someone he doesnt know goes running through his yard he goes crazy and barks up a storm. Then it takes me a while to get him calm because he is then on ultimate guard dog alert.

OMG Phyl she b!tched b/c you put a fence up. What the heck is wrong with people
