Thank you for keeping us all updated! I was wondering how it all went with Christopher & it truly makes me realize that your nephew is such a trooper, just like his dad. I had a tear in my eye reading about their first meeting since this happened. I am sure your brother was just thrilled inside to have his son by his side! Just another reason to fight his hardess!!!!
We will continue to pray for Kenneth to make his recovery

Thank you for the update.
I don't know about the other rehab centers but, Helen Hayes is excellent! Since it's right up the road from us - we know a lot of people that have gone there for varying degrees of rehab (one a member of the FDNY with severe injuries) and all have had great success.

So glad to see a good update. Happy Father's Day to him!!! I'm still praying hard for him. So glad that Christopher was able to see his Dad. He probably feels so relieved. I hope today is an even better day for him!

It's so great that Christopher was able to see his Dad, that must have made him feel so much better. Kids are really amazing, they can be so resiliant!!
Glad to hear that Kenneth is improving so much and almost ready for a rehab center, it's awesome that these places are so willing to help.
Continued prayers for Kenneth's full recovery.

I'm so happy to see another update. the stuff Kyle has told me just brings me to tears, and I'm so glad you posted about it. We keep him and your family in our prayers every night. Kyle said he's even going to try and visit him when he's in NJ! I give you guys a lot of credit I have no idea how you pulled through so strong!!

I saw his lawyer on the news last night complaining that the DA made it public that he "may" have been drinking while driving and that he wants a change of venue, because he can't see how he can get a "fair" trial
I'm glad to read you made your decision on where he will go from here. I know that can be exhausting.
The more he fusses, the more aware he is becoming and knows he doesn't want to be attached to everything. Which is a good sign It amazes me how resilient the body is and how it can come back from such a serious injury.
And he sounds like he's on his way back
He continues to be in my thoughts and prayers as does the rest of your family.

I am so glad - Kenneth sounds like he is doing great.
As for the disgusting human being who did this to him - I guess his attorney really has nothing to go by so he is pulling ridiculousness out of the air. Comparing him with your brother ! 
I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life. He is a danger to society and people like that do not deserve to be with the rest of us
