Omg Dani, I'm so glad to hear how well he is doing!! It's amazing that he was cradling your mom's face and rubbing your hand, really great signs!!!  I hope he goes to Kessler soon, but it may be tough not being able to see him everyday.
I can't believe that basstard's lawyer tried comparing him to Kenneth, but I guess he's just trying to do his job. I feel compelled to ask, if he was his son's sole provider, who's taking care of him now? So sad, yet another innocent victim in all of this, I hope he learns from his father's mistake.
Continued prayers for Kenneth's full recovery.

I am so happy to hear all about Kenneth's progression & it seems like he truly is turning over a new leaf! Your mom must have been so thrilled to have him cradle her face like he did. It seems that your brother is aware of things & wants to show everyone that he is regaining his strength!
It must have been a heartwrenching scene to see the guy in court that did this to your brother! Not to mention, hear that he was ACTUALLY drinking while he was driving. The judge definately did what was right here!!!! This man does not deserve to be with his family, he is where he should be! Maybe, just maybe,he is learning his lesson

Oh Danielle what a great update, we continue to keep your family in our prayers. Kessler is a wonderful facility, he will be in good hands. Aa close friend of mine was there after a fall off a ladder, and yes they worked him hard, but he made an amazing recovery, I wish the same for Kenneth
Good for the judge for denying that POS bail, and how dare the lawyer compare him to your brother

i spoke with one of the DA's assistants after the hearing to get a better understanding - apparently, that was just a ploy to get him to lower the bail because the person who hit my brother is actually UNEMPLOYED at this time and was so at the time of the accident so any "providing" for is not happening anyway. Once the judge realized that AND that the son resides primarily with his mother (the father gets visits when he wants) the judge said leave it as is -- the mother is employed. he never mentioned the other child he has from a different person (his first), then the son in question was the second from a woman he is no longer with either and then his current GF is pregnant with his third child as we speak. 
he also mentioned that he feared for his "safety" at the jail  the judge said he heard nothing of where he was being a problem but if he wanted to be moved that was fine and his choice was riker's island or suffolk county (much larger and tougher in suffolk - they don't have watch dogs making sure the CO's are doing the right thing in suffolk) i chuckled when the judge offered that - almost in a smug way and then the guy that did this HAPPILY agreed to stay at nassau.
it's just sickening how you can lie to a judge just to see if he'll fall for giving you what you want -- and then when he doesn't be like "ok nevermind"

WHAT A GREAT UPDATE!!!! Things are moving right along as they should. As for tuesday i sadly have to work so i will not see any new press conference if there is one after 11:15 I will be listening before hand ! and while i am at work maybe walk radio will say something! again anything you need PLEASE let me know !!!!!
