Just saw your piece on Channel 7 and his promotion. Well-deserved and your nephew is a wonderful boy! You spoke so eloquently...what a wonderful family. As I've said before, as a fellow family in blue, our prayers are with you and your brother always.

Oh, I missed this.
But I did see the donation from Big Browns family. That's a wonderful thing they did for your nephew.

Danielle, we are continuing to pray for your brother. I agree that it's better to get him 100% ready to go to rehab. He has come soooo far already and your family is amazing from what I've read. My thoughts are definitely with you daily.

seriously - they ARE amazing. i can't get over it.
they are SO down to earth and when they told us about the august 3rd race they invited us - they were SO excited for us to come... like "i'm sure kenneth will be better by then b/c he'll be in rehab so we are hoping your parents will feel up to going and we can finally meet them - we'll send a limo for you guys and we can all have dinner!"
i mean, who would do this?! people we don't even know - they go out of their way for us and they TRULY care and they keep saying how they can't wait to meet kenneth when he's better.
then - they were apologetic that they could not be with us MORE at belmont! it's like they did so much for us and they still felt like it wasn't enough so they are excited to be able to spend more time with us on august 3rd -- so am i b/c they are so nice!
you realize that people - with money and with a considerable amount of fame/attention REALLY can care about others that don't have as much -- and really can be SO genuine.
they walked us through EXACTLY how big brown lost at belmont -- they had just found out earlier yesterday before the ceremony. they had pics of it -- he got stepped on coming out of the gate, his shoe came off, then a nail went into his hoof and he couldn't run as much b/c it was digging in. they were like "it's ok, we still won 2 out of 3 races and we are going to win the next won and get more money for christopher!" ... they are UNBELIEVABLE. it really renews your faith in the human spirit -- just when i was about to give up on people lol!

I watched the link last night & it brought a tear to my eye to see Christopher accepting his dad's new uniform! Your brother is so fortunate to be surrounded by such a wonderful family & it is so comforting to see so many people that care so much!!!! Your brother must be proud!!!
