Kid Friendly Barber Shop in Eastern Nassau or Western Suffolk
Ive been taking DS (almost 4) to a kids haircutting place since his first haircut but am looking to start taking him someplace a little cheaper since his hair grows SO fast and he needs a haircut at least every 4 weeks or so.
Any places that you like that are good with younger boys?

We take Gavin to Sal and Vin's barber shop in Valley Stream on Rockaway Ave. They do a good job and are pretty good with my fidgety guy!!! 11 bucks I think...
woops!!! I thought it said Western Nassau!!!!

There's a place called "Pat's" in Bethpage. It's off of Hempstead Tnpke. They do mostly men, but we took our DD there because it was so cheap and they were GREAT with kids. It's behind the Hess station by Jackie Reilly's and AC Moore. I believe the haircuts are only $3.50, but they might have gone up to $4. Yes, it's that cheap for men and kids.

Yep. They are so nice there too. You don't need an appointmen, it's a walk-in place. You should definitely try it. I bet you will love it.
For the people who use to remember "Pergaments" (sp?) they are the same barber shop.

There's a barber w/ a kids section in Plainview in the Shop Rite shopping center. They have videos/dvd's and the cute little cars for the kids to sit in. I believe they charge $12 or $14 for a kids cut.

yea my BIL goes there and he loves it!!!! he's been going there for like 10 years and never had a bad haircut!!! hey you can't beat the price!!
