kid friendly recommendation (not disney)
we just came back from disney and have over $300 in airfare credit with southwest that has to be used before september
we want to go away with the boys (2.5 and 1 yr old) to a kid friendly place for a few days - stuff for them to do and really enjoy
out of the country is not an option right now
heard of places in sc and nc but i really have no idea where to go!
open to all suggestions with the exception of international travel (heck we may even wind up in disney again  ) but would like to look into other places

forgot to add we have annual passes to wdw that expire in sept..
so it may be disney again.

I know you said NOT Disney, but what about Disney's Hilton Head resort or their Vero Beach resort (though vero would tempt me to go to WDW).
I like those because you get the beach vacation but you know it's going to be a kid friendly resort with lots of activities for the whole family.

What about Orlando but doing things like Seaworld and Leggoland?
Tampa - Lowry Park Zoo is beautiful, There is a great aquarium, you could visit them from Clearwater too where there is lots to do.
DC, Boston, Chicago - most major cities will have activities for small children.

What about California - you have everything from disneyland and LA etc; San Diego is great - zoo, legoland, Seaworld.

Virginia (you could go to Williamsburg)
