Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
TMZ has obtained a copy of Kim Kardashian's wedding invitation, and it has all the makings of a fancy schmancy affair.
The wedding, which will be held on Saturday, August 20, is strictly black tie.

I might be knitpicking, but I am not to fond of the "Kris and Bruce Jenner..." For a Black tie shouldn't it Read Mr. Mrs. Bruce Jenner, or something similar.

My mom wanted her name on the invite so we did it like that. But I think the invite is gross. How funny though that he is KRIS and not CHRIS! Just like KRIS K, KIM K KOURT AND KLOE

Not a fan of the double K insignia on the top. I think Mr/Mrs was appropriate also

It's Two Thousand Eleven Not Two Thousand and Eleven
This is SUCH a pet peeve of mine! When I got married, every, single invite in the catalogs for invitations said two thousand and five and the woman at the invitation place ARGUED with me because I refused to have that on my invite! I made her put two thousand five. AND should mean a decimal point in my book. But then again, it could also be "and" as in addition. Anyway, sorry for that tangent-rant. That being said, I would have expected something nicer

I don't think she's pregnant, I think that she's probably the type that cannot handle that her sister is married and not her, kwim? She just strikes me as the type to rush it in terms of WHO she marries and how fast because she just wants to have what her sisters have.

Yeah, it's pure coincidence, but how often does a bride's Mom and her husband have the same name, spelled the same way!

Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
I don't love it, but I do like it - there are details that are hard to appreciate from the photo. For example, the motif behind the monogram looks to be pearlized & embossed. I'm also sure its thicker and heavier than the standard invitations.
I am a little surprised that they didn't go with Mr. & Mrs. for her parents' names.
There is a difference of opinion in the wedding stationery world about "and" on the year line. Crane & Co's Blue Book of Wedding Etiquette says it is correct.
Isn't it incorrect to use "and," as in "Two thousand and one"?
In mathematics "and" denotes a decimal point, and since there’s no decimal point in the year "2001," it may seem incorrect to use "and." Wedding invitations, however, are not mathematical equations, so the use of "and" as a decimal point is irrelevant. On wedding invitations, "and" is used simply as a connective word.

Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
I found a better picture. It looks to me like the cardstock has a shimmer to it. They were mailed in a gate-fold case inside a sturdy silver box.
Also rumor has it that the black border is crystals ... so there's some bling

Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
I like the invite but what bothers me is that It says:
Kris and Bruce Jenner....their daughter
She's not his daughter. I know he has been in her life for a long time but I don't think I would have worded it that way since he is not the biological father.

Neither would I but maybe Kim wanted it that way.

For their money I expected something nicer.
