Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
I'm thinking this is a decoy invite..... b/c 1. that's giving the paparazzi way too much info and 2) there are too many mistakes that any professional invite printer would never have allowed to happen

Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
There is something about this that makes me feel like it is fake. Not the real thing.

I think it's the real thing - when has that family hid anything from the paparazzi?
There aren't any grammatical mistakes in the invite. The use of and in "two thousand and eleven" is accepted in formal invite wording. I'm not surprised that Kris Jenner didnt want to the invite to begin with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jenner. I didnt list my parents that way on my wedding invite.

Re: Kim and Kris' Wedding Invite
I actually think it's an elegant looking invitation. I have received much worse in the mail. I don't see an issue with the wording either. From what I see online, "and" is perfectly acceptable when writing out the year. I believe that's how mine were written.
From ehow.com: "spell out the year completely to finish the date line. If the wedding will be held in the year 2011, write out “two thousand and eleven” with no punctuation at the end.
For an informal wedding invitation, simply use the numbered year if desired. Rather than writing out “two thousand and eleven,” simply use “2011” with no punctuation at the end."

What's the big rush with everything? Didn't she just get engaged?
Preggo maybe??
I don't think she's pregnant, I think that she's probably the type that cannot handle that her sister is married and not her, kwim? She just strikes me as the type to rush it in terms of WHO she marries and how fast because she just wants to have what her sisters have.
She was quoted to have said that due to the basketball season and training they wanted a summer wedding. I think I read that like the day they were engaged. It was all over the news, well Ok, STar,and US , that it would be this summer.
I think it's to hard to say if I like them or not. I would have to see them and feel them to know. I have found that the "quality" of the invite can rely heavely on the card stock, and so on. I have no doubt in person they are high quality and cost

I like the invite but what bothers me is that It says:
Kris and Bruce Jenner....their daughter
She's not his daughter. I know he has been in her life for a long time but I don't think I would have worded it that way since he is not the biological father.
My husband referred to his stepdad on our wedding invitation as his dad, because that's how he sees him, regardless of biology. Does that also bother you? I feel like this is a very personal decision, and I don't see that there is one right way to handle it.

Bruce and Kris Jenner have been married for 20 years which means that (if Kim isn't lying about her age) Bruce has been her Stepfather since she was 10 yrs old. I think that counts for something. Besides, her biological father has been deceased for 18 years.

fwiw, I don't find anything wrong with that wording if that's how she wanted it.

You're 100% right. I was thinking '93 but it was '03. Robert Kardashian was obviously still around for the OJ trial. And I agree. It's her wedding, she can do whatever she wants with the invites.

Sorry if I offended you or anyone else. That was not my intention at all. Obviously, to each their own and it is highly publicized that she and Bruce have a wonderful relationship just like she had with Robert Kardashian. It is just my personal opinion that if it were me I would not have worded it that way. I never said there was anything wrong with it or that the way she worded it was incorrect.
This was an issue that came up with my own wedding because my parents were divorced and my mother was/is deceased and my DH's father was/is also deceased at the time of our wedding. So my DH and I just decided that we were not going to say anything about our parents on the invite.
Again, sorry if I offended anyone.
