I used to kiss my parents on the lips when I was little. I kiss DD on the lips sometimes. I kiss her everywhere.

Yup- She loves kisses- I don't see the problem She did think it was ok for her to kiss her friend at day care like that though and the day care person freaked out. I thought it was funny. Dad not so much

I am the first girl my son ever kissed on the lips!  Call it what you want, I kiss him everywhere.....he also tries to open mouth kiss me.....no tongue, just open mouth...
I also kiss my parents on the lips....

So, I'm curious, do you kiss your DC on the lips? I never really thought twice about it, but both JT and I do kiss Ava on the lips all the time, and I can't believe I'm going to admit this, but I still kiss my parents on the lips as well It never occurred to me that it might not be the norm.
Us too! DH and I both grew up in affectionate households so it is the norm for both of us

It never occurred to me that other people don't regularly kiss their DCs or their parents on the lips either. I thought most people did, but I guess not.

No, we don't. I don't have a problem if other people do it with their children but it doesn't feel natural to me.

No we don't. Maybe as he gets older... i don't know. Even then i probably wouldn't. I was never big on kissing on the lips, except for SO of course.

I don't, but don't care what others do.
What bugs me....when others expect me to kiss my neice or nephew on the lips as babies. That drives me nuts.
