Re: Ladies Who Have Been Prescribed Clomid..Q?
Well, I'd like to go off on a tangent here about trusting your doctor. When I went of BCP, my period came regularly for about 3 cycles. Then it stopped coming. After 60+ days I made an appointment with my ob/gyn. She told me it was normal to go this long without a period and that I should get AF within a week. Well two weeks later, still no period. I decided to see another ob/gyn who told my it was not normal and immediately suspected PCOS. If I had just trusted the first doctor, who knows where I would be right now.
The point of this tangent being - you have to be your own advocate. You can't always trust everything doctors do or say. They are extremely busy and in terms of IF, many just don't have the knowledge.
To Jeri, the OP - I am sorry your original question went so wayward! I hope you got some of the answer you were looking for.

i understand and appreciate everyone's points of view
again, i was merely stating my personal experience and conditions, as i had previously stated
i didnt have any of the side effects from it, and i think it depends on eveyone's own body
i also stated to Jeri that my OB/GYN used clomid herself for first 2 children
