Last Pill of Clomid & Follicle Questions
I took my last pill of clomid (100mg cd3-7) last night.
I just got back from my internal sono and I have one follicle on the right measuring 7mm and another follicle on the left measuring 9+mm. Is this good?
My CD3 bloods came back beautiful my RE said and they took blood after the sono to check Estrogen levels.
He said if the estrogen levels come back low he will give me some more clomid. I will have that answer back by 4pm today.
Are those follicles measuring good for just finishing up the clomid?

IMO it's too early to tell. You are only CD8.
eta: I was always told to start using OPKs on CD10 and if I had not detected a surge by CD15 to come in for bloods and sono.

Thanks that is what I figured just wanted to ask. I am having a trigger and an IUI and they are going to be monitoring me very closely do you still think i should do the OPK's

each of my IUI's were with clomid and trigger. when do they have you coming back? I would do the OPK's if it were me.. I wouldn't want to miss my surge. Honestly on CD8 if the Dr. wants you to take more clomid, this soon, I'd question it. I was always told generally you should get your surge about 5 days after taking the first clomid pill.

At the earliest....I personally wouldn't ovulate until CD20 on Clomid. And that was 10 days after the last pill.
The point is to get bigger, better follicles...why would they double you up on Clomid so soon?

Generally, if you have two follicles developing - there would be no reason to think that your estrogen is low. It may have been something he said as a precautionary thing....

IDK.. seems so early for that. My very last IUI cycle, I was on 100mgs CD3-7. I got a +OPK on CD12 (very early for me), went in on CD13 and they saw no growth, and my bloodwork levels were identical to my CD3 bloodwork. They had me come in 3 days later for another check, and at that point they put me on another 150mgs of Clomid for another 5 days. I triggered on CD23 that cycle with a 20mm and two 22mm follies.

I hope so (i think so too) i get myself so worked up for these appointments waiting for bad news and then when he says everything is going beautifully it makes me feel like the bottom is going to fall out at any moment
