Late Dec. and Jan moms.......or anyone having their baby in the winter.
Do you plan on buying a winter coat? I feel like its going to be such a waste of money. Im wondering if I can get away with not buying one and just layering alot. What is everyone else doing?

I bought one from motherhood that was like $40. It is really cute, black, with toggle style buttons and it doesn't look maternity.
The reason I wanted one was because who know how big my belly will be after I give bith and I do not want to have a winter jacket in the dead of the winter

Oh 40 bucks isnt too bad. The one's I have seen have all been double that or more.

Good point!!! I honestly didn't even think of that. I thought maybe once I have the baby, I'd magically deflate LOL. Guess I will be heading to Destination Maternity!!

Im not. I tried on my winter coat from last year and so far it fits fine with even some room to grow. If it comes to the point where i cant button it, Ill just make sure im wearing something heavy underneath it; I dont go out much anyway.

I bought one in Marshall's the other day for about $50. It's not maternity, but I bought a bigger size to accomodate my bump. I'll probably need a roomier jacket for after I have the baby anyway.

Im not planning on buying one. I had bought one last year that only had a few buttons and then flared out so Im hoping it will cover my growing belly. Im actually going to go home now and try it on to make sure I will have room. Otherwise I will probably see if I can find a cheap one.

def. i bought one from old navy maternity i think. best investment. very warm + hoodie = awesome.
